Friday night was so much fun at the National Horse Show! NHS hosted a barn night with prizes awarded for both individuals and barn groups! Lift Off decided to support Breast Cancer Awareness and showed up decked out in pink. Also with help from the local Komen affiliate, were able to hand out Breast Cancer awareness wristbands, pamphlets, water bottles, and more! Everyone had a blast at the event which featured a fun $30,000 Gamblers Choice class where top jumpers rode in costume. Along with the class, the Budweiser Clydesdales were there! Thanks to all who showed up to support Lift Off and we'll be back again next year to try for the grand prize! Congrats to Ashley and Spicer's Mill (Billy) for finishing Top 10 in the Nation in the TAKE2 Thoroughbred League jumper division for the year. Pretty awesome for not even starting to show in the division until July!  What a great week we had at Liftoff! We decided to run a mini Fall camp for those on Fall Break end of last week and we all had a blast! The kids did lots of riding, some arts and crafts as well as learning more about horses and horse care. And let's not forget lunch by the creek and running around the farm with our goat, Ozzie! Some of our LiftOff Ladies took over Tryon this past month! Here are some shots from a successful show!    Liftoff Middle School IEA Team won Championship ribbons at the 2015 IEA Middle School Hunt Seat National Finals! Congratulations to Jenny for winning the Horsemanship Award at IEA Nationals!
Liftoff hosted it's first IEA Show! Liftoff, River Mountain and Bluegrass IEA Teams co-hosted a "Be My Valentine" Show on Valentine's Day. Congratulations to Team Liftoff's Middle School Team in receiving the Reserve High Point award at the show. The High School Team finished 4th Overall. Special thank you to the clients that helped with the show and supported the cause! In winning the Reserve High Point Team at our show, the Liftoff Middle School Team has qualified for Regionals which will be held at Morehead State University in March. Individual Middle/High School Members that have qualified include: Christina Meeks, Grace Banahan, Isabela de Sousa, and Jenny Heyn.
 Congratulations to all of our horse and rider teams this year! 2014 was great and we can't wait to see what new goals will be reached in 2015!
