Lesson Program Information

The goal of the lesson and training program is to provide safe instruction in a positive environment. Training programs can be tailored to suit horse and rider. We strive to help riders of ALL levels develop the skills necessary to be confident in their horsemanship and riding abilities.

Lesson Pricing ~

Private Lesson: $50

Group Lesson of 2-4 riders: $40

Lesson Policy ~ It is the student's responsibility to allow enough time before and after each lesson to groom and tack up their horse and put everything away properly.  Until the student is capable of doing so, tacking up is part of the lesson time to reinforce the importance of developing safe and capable horsemanship skills which is a goal of the lesson program.

Attire ~
ASTM/SEI certified hunt caps and boots with heels are mandatory when mounted. Paddock boots and chaps or boots with breeches are preferred. We have extra boots and helmets if needed.  Jodhpur pants and paddock boots are appropriate for young children.  

Cancellation Policy ~
Lessons must be canceled 12 hours in advance to avoid paying the lesson fee (considerations made for emergency situations). If the lesson is canceled by the instructor, every effort to reschedule will be made.
